Hello people!

The hectic life of a dentist-to-be is back. Well, it shouldn't be that hectic actually, if and only if, I planned my time properly and study earlier. But well, it doesn't really effective for me to study earlier because it won't get into my whateverareaofthecerebrum

For these past 2 weeks, we had holidays on tuesday, back then in 1st year, holiday tuesday is a yeay! because we may skip the most boring day of the week, of 4 hours of lectures which include DM and prostho and 2 hours of dissection. Now, in 2nd year, it's still a yeay! because we can skip microb practical! The worst part of this year practicals, of all medic subjects, is the journal writing part =.='

Monday might be hari raya haji (there is still no formal announcement regarding it), so I'm wishing all Muslims all over the world 'Selamat Hari Raya AidilAdha' and to the selected ones, by Allah to perform hajj this year, 'selamat beribadah, semoga mendapat haji yg mabrur' :)

Anyway, ayah and ibu booked my ticket already! So I'll be in Malaysia from 5th Feb till 24th Feb! Yeah, it's kinda short, but who cares, as long as I can be in Malaysia with my beloved family and friends :) planning for USS trip, but we'll see how the plan goes :)

Next week will be another hectic week, then another week then block! If I guessed it right, too lazy to count the dates or even to look into calendar :P

Hello people!

Today is monday. Eh, silap. Today is tuesday, it's already 2 am in the morning. And yeah, what am I doing that I still awake at this hour? Tho, I'm not that wide awake. I'm frying sweet potatoes for 20+ people.

Nah, I'm not doing catering or what, I do it per request from my usrahmates. Tomorrow we're gonna hv usrah at the beach! Weehoo! Initially I thought there is gonna be our usrah only, then suddenly k ummu called and asked me to prepare for 20+ ppl, erk!

I prefer pudding, or agar2 or cake, but I hv no choice, but to agree, since I've promised them already. Nah, this is not a 'sighing post', I just type it for the sake of sharing, nothing more. I hope tomorrow will be an enjoyable but yet full of messages day for all of us, amin :)

Wait, today is tuesday, no class? Yep, it's holiday! Special for Diwali :)

The camp I talked about in my last post, hurm, it's kinda boring but at the same time it's kinda fun. The mood is kinda up and down recently. The LDKs are mostly recycled the same old materials of LDK found in most camps. Ice breaking, logo, motto, untangled rope, blablabla

I'm sick of it actually. But some people do make the activities became more fun. BUT some people are plain annoying.

Anyway, I'm going back this Feb! :D

Hello people!

I'm back! Have left this blog unupdated for quite a while, hurm, months maybe, I don't know, I can't even remember when did I post my previous post :)

Anyway, I had an awesome holiday with family and friends in Msia, glad to hang out with them again. Everyone is still the same, my family who is always there for me and my chingu (friends) who I cherish the meaning of friendship with :)

Results were Alhamdulillah okayh, tho I was bit disappointed that I manage to score 1 distinction only, I don't know, not my rezeki maybe and yeah, maybe Allah is testing me so that I'll try harder next time, *positive Nabilah!*

2nd year, so far, it's quite, erm, challenging, but well, things do get tougher as we grow older so that we become wiser, isn't it so? So I'm trying to adapt with 2nd year slowly, hopefully I will be able to adapt well.

I'm leaving for Bangalore tonight, have a program with MARA, a leadership camp =.=' well, hopefully I'll get new input so that it won't be such a waste of time, next week gonna be hectic for me, I need all the luck in the world

Hai semua!

Lama kan tak mengepost blog, almaklumlah, tgh musim exam, tp ni tetiba rasa mcm nk post something sbb tetibe topic ni popped out dlm otak.

Ouh, mesti ada yg ckp Nabilah ni kejap English kejap BM kejap rojak, mana satu main language yg dia nk pakai ntah, ni Nabilah nak ckp, "AAK" aka "Ada Aku Kisah?"

Okeh back to the topic, tulisan, bahasa biasa I guna, handwritting :)

Okeh 1st tgk gambar yg huruf 'A kecik' je tu. Pernah x anda tertanya2 kenapa tulisan ni ada byk2 bentuk, I mean bentuk common lah, kt sekolah time tadika cikgu ajar kita buat 'A kecik' ikut cara 1, tp bila kita bukak paper or buku or apa2 bahan tulisan bercetaklah kan, blh kata semua guna cara 2. Zaman sekolah rendah dulu, zaman buat buku biodata, tiba2 wujud pulak cara 3, I seriously don't hv any idea what kind of 'A kecik' will be created in the future.

And I have one simple question:
KORANG TAK RASA KE BUDAK2 BARU BELAJAR ABC AKAN KONFIUS??

It happened to me, okeh. Dulu masa darjah satu kan kita ada ujian:

Sila tulis huruf berikut dalam huruf kecil:
1. A

Saya jawab ikut cara nombor 2, A kecik yg korg nampak dlm post ni, dan terus cikgu bagi TELUR AYAM aka 0 markah! TAK SALAHKAN jawapan tuuuuuu, I'm just being a bit more, ouh well, advanced than my fellow classmates, it shows that I read papers and my classmates didn't :P perasan kau Nabilah!

Tp dulu sumpah suka A kecik cara dua, maybe sbb more creative kot? Sekarang rasa mcm, huruf2 ni x blh simple lg ke? *sbb tpaksa menulis laju masa ambil nota

As I grow up, handwriting mmg berubah2, and I am easily influenced by other's handwritings, pantang nampak tulisan kwn mcm cantik sikit mulalah ubah, try tiru, but now I stick to one handwriting, I've been using it for like, erm, 7 yrs?

Sila lihat gambar 'Nabilah budak baik', the 1st one tu, tu my handwriting kebiasaannya.

Tapi tulisan still berubah2 ikut situasi, contoh dalam gambar 'Nabilah budak baik':

Tulisan 2 - ialah tulisan dalam kelas dan time belajar, tulisan nak laju + malas, dan mungkin akan jd tulisan bila kerja nanti, lg sikit nak jadi tulisan doktor, but still readable :)

Tulisan 3 - ialah tulisan kreatif klu nak decorate pape ke, tampal2 yg kat bilik or sometimes bila ibu suruh tulis decoration for Signora, and tu baru sikit je, ada lg mcm2 tulisan kreatif :P

Tulisan 4 - tu tulisan nk mintak penampar cikgu BM, I used to get used using it for mostly everything, but now, nahhhh, it's too childish and immature, I use it rarely for decorative purposes only, when I don't have any idea on how to decorate it nicely :)

Ok, done for the post, now I have to go back to my reading, DADH paper tomorrow, and yeah, I'm not qualified for distinction for this subject, sobs. Whatever. Pray for me okehss :)

Hi semua!

Ok, tak sesuai pulak trademark biasa tu, mcm happy je kan, but the truth is I am not...

I don't know why, pms maybe or mmg semua benda mcm serba x kena hari ini...

Dr pg lagi, mmg everything wasn't right

Pagi, pergi breakfast kt bq, pakcik biasa takde, pakcik yg ni, buat kopi tak sedap, cair, dan dia lupa order, dan saya dah lambat, maka saya marah dia sbb buat order org lain dulu. Tp end up, kopi x habes sbb cair, sweet bun x habis sbb rasa pelik.

Lepas tu kelas prostho, 2 jam, amek kau!dan dia telah teramek sikit waktu rehat, maka saya terpaksa berlari pergi mahe nak jmpe dr jaya

Sampai mahe, dr jaya tgh jmpe dia punya mentee, tggu kejap, tp smpai lg 5 minit wktu rehat nk habis, x habis jumpa jugak, maka satu penantian yg sia2

Dissection byk gila hek, dan saya mmg sedia geram dgn lecturer ni yg x pernah nk tunjuk kt side saya, asik tnjuk kt belah satu lagi je, lepas tu suruh org semua kerumun part yg dia tunjuk, hello cikgu, meja tu tak diciptakan luas tanpa sebab kan? Dan saya rasa dehydrated yg amat dn rse hypoglycemic, jd malas nk mintak lecturer tu tnjuk lg skali

Ada kawan saya buat lawak yg saya rasa x lawak langsung, ok, mungkin sy tgh moody, wrong timinglah awak!

Lepas tu nak keluarkan duet, semua atm pn rosak, perlu melencong sikit ke examination hall nak keluarkan duet.

Petang kelas ok je, thanks to syasya cuba menggembirakan hati ini, tp sori syasya, I'm still not in the mood..

Lepas tu pergi jumpa dr jaya, bagitahu dia poster mmg esok baru dpt, pstu dia marah2 ckp kena siapkan harini jugak, sapa suro awak demand macam2, lepas tu dh last2 minute baru ckp ouh xleh guna format ni, and ouh ada kedai ni blh buatkan

Lepas tu pegi bayar bill bsnl, mula2 akka tu ckp we're closed already, rasa mcm nk mnjerit je time tu, tp last2 akka tu trima gk payment

Lepas tu jln kaki g shefin, cuba mintak dia siapkan cepat, tp mcm mmg not possible, penat dah, malas nk gaduh dgn org tu, dan saya rasa dah hilang kudrat dah, tp mmg plg awal pn esk tgh hari, lantaklah dr jaya

Dan lepas tu saya dh rasa lost, otak berserabut, jiwa kacau, terhenti tgh2 jalan rasa mcm nk nangis je

Lepas tu jalan nak balik, tp dh smpai area court tenis baru tngat td lupa bawak kunci, call roomate, x jawab, call bestfriend dia x jawab jugak

Lalu terduduk di bangku termenung menghadap kmc green, cuba mencari ketenangan dan kekuatan diri, ya Allah, bantulah aku...

Tenang sedikit, bangun mencari auto dan menuju ke medan selera.

Boss kata your friend just went back, why you're alone? Cuma ckp, ada hal td, tp sy bersyukur, terlambat seketika, I need to be alone, klu ramai2 mungkin ada lg yg btanya, dan mungkin ada yg tluka dgn sikap saya, jd, baik sendiri. Tp boss tu sikit2 pandang dgn muka pelik dia tu, haishhh, tp mungkin sy senyum pn dh x rupa senyum

Kembali di bilik, cuba mencari penenang dan penghibur hati...

Hi semua!

Haven't updated the blog for quite a while, aigoo...

Fuh!fuh! Nyah engkau segala mak nenek habuk dan sarang labah2...

Alhamdulillah results were okayh, improved on my physio, well at least it's no longer on the borderline, but bit upset with my ospe dadh =.=' shall try harder for block 4 and unis!

Anyway, I'm posting this post to talk on a matter which bothers me quite a lot recently -> stay up!

These recent few weeks, I keep on getting tired easily and go to sleep early, as early as 11 pm, but I still wake up late, not that late actually but just enough time for me to get ready for class and breakfast!

I wonder where did I throw my ability to stay up the whole night...

When I was doing IB, I would sleep at 2 nearly everyday! And I once slept at 4 to 5 am, got up at 6 something am, and yet I was still wide awake in the class

But now, in dental school, even though I sleep as early as 11 pm, I still lose count on how many times I yawn in the class, INFINITE number of time maybe...

On the other hand, I had lost my eyebags I got during IB for lack of sleep! :D

Ps: went through the old pics, I think I have become less fun, let's become funner (nabilah, jgn rosakkan bahasa!) Let's become more fun!

Pps: suka ayat nur kasih ni - semakin derita menghimpit kita, semakin dekat rahmat merapati kita :)

Hi semua!

Alhamdulillah, block 3 exam had ended! How was it? Errrr, no comment, don't wanna put high expectation on it but yet, I don't wanna demotivate myself by thinking I did bad, it was okay, but I don't know, I just don't know how to describe it, get it?

Even though exam was just ended yesterday, we started our class already! We are unlucky enough that our block 4 starts on tuesday :(

It was a day full with lectures from 8 to 4, we started with selection of posterior tooth in prostho, test of surface hardness in dental materials, then 2 hours of eyeball and ear in anat, CNS in physio and purine and pyrimidine metabolism in biochem

Faint.

Penat gila.

I don't even know where to start, they are just a lot! Plus, I also have MSP of Dental Caries to be submitted this week =.='

I need strength...

Ps: accidentally dropped mr boogie in the toilet just now, now I think it's 'larynx' has damaged, have to check it again tomorrow, may everything will be alright, hate to send it for 'surgery' :(

Hi semua!

Practically this is just a random and spontaneous post

To be frank, I have nothing to share with fellow readers now

Well, we are in our exam week, yeah, block 3 exam and 3 months to go for our final exam *cuak*

Electricity supply in Sharada is kinda 'ngek' recently. We keep on having blackout and the electricity is not really stable that the lamp keep on blinking for approximately once in a 10 seconds time =.=' *sakit mata*

I certainly cannot sleep under this heat without having the fan to rotate normally and chill the room :(

But ain is still sleeping soundly over there, I guarantee you, ain is the kind of person that you can throw her anywhere, yet she can still sleep soundly

This block is kinda frustrating, tests weren't that good and I admit it myself that I dislike the syllibus of this block :( but I still have to revise and do my best for the block exam

Wish us luck, people ;) mmuah mmuahhh

Hi semua!

Yesterday I received the news that ayah has been promoted to be Chief Operating Officer aka COO, not CEO okayh, chukhaeyo appa :D

BUT...

The sad part is that ayah will have to stay in penang during weekdays :( I am worried on family when ayah is away for most of the time, this is very new to my family

Who will help my mom handling the household?

Will my brothers behave themselves?

Who will accompany my mom for her usual teh tarik supper at mamak?

What if anything emergency happens?

But I believe changes are needed so that we can be a better family, I'm praying for the best and He surely has His own plan and it is the best for us, His servants :)

And my mom is a superlady, she surely can have everything under control :D

Glad to know that Aman, Alan and Danish are now helping ibu with the chores, they now know how to cook rice, how to fold the clothes, how to peel the onions, etc :D

Ps: yesterday was my cleaning day, chak!

Pps: too tired after working superfast during prostho just to catch up with the rest since my tray was broken :(

wow, what a question....

actually, the one which makes it worth it or not, is you yourself (and your mindset of course) ah, jawapan artis gila!

first, i used to think it's not worth it, at all, and it was back back back then even before i stepped on this india land. why? yeah, because ib was hard, and yeah i had this kind of ego and pride i shall say. it was like, i scored better than them, but why cant i go to uni in uk/ireland/oz which give me full 5 yrs course there and why should i go for twinning when my results are quite eligible for any other uni with full 5 yrs course?

BUT it was the old me, the proud, negative-minded, arrogant me. i admit that.

now, i am actually glad that i am here :D why?

1. it's not of what you are 'rewarded' after finishing ib, it's about how you make use of what you had gained from ib in your life later. campaklah mana pun, you'll survive and you'll feel satisfied and proud that you did ib and you can actually reflect how you have become a better person throughout the process

2. a big community of malays and muslims is around you and it makes you feel like you belong here and it kinda stops you from doing anything which is deviated away from the muslim way of living as there are a lot of islamic activities and they will always be there to guide you or to 'tegur' you :D

3. we still get the same knowledge, be it india, uk, ireland, oz or even czech. for god sake, the course for facial nerve is the same in majority people. *random, i know* just the method of teaching is different. i dont know about any other country, but in india, you get to see the cadaver nearly everyday for mbbs students, you should be able to spot the nerves, muscles and all, you have lecturers who never get bored of repeating the same thing over and over again just because you dont understand it

4. clinical years in malaysia, you are going to serve your own country, so i do think that having clinical years in malaysia will be an advantage to us. because, you will get used with the typical type of patients you will be facing during housemanship, and you will be able to explain to the patient more thoroughly during housemanship, just like my previous post, xdelah nnt dh housemanship baru terkial2 nak cari macam mana nk explain bridging, crowning, rct kat makcik bedah, tok jah, pakcik daud, usop wilcha etc. patients need to know what kind of treatment you are planning to do for him/her

5. there are loads more thing to be explained, but a post or two, or even random talking arent enough, experiences speak the best :D

ps: yeah, there are no malls no cinema no bowling no karaoke in manipal but there are cheap food, supercheap saloon and spa, super supercheap materials and tailor service and MARENA (and yeah, cheaper baskin robbin) XD

House hunting

Hi semua!

Today was a tiring day, but it was fun!

We went for house hunting around manipal by cycling :D

Yes, I don't own any bicycle, so I borrowed farah's :)

Basically we went to lots of places, aditia parva, mp park, old pratham, kirthi sagar, angel's court, mandavi paradise and nirthi 'something'

Some of the apartments are very beautiful and some are ermmmmmm, I don't know how to describe it

But basically the price ranges from 13k to 15k with 1 lakh as the deposit

Ps: 1 lakh is actually 100k :)

Cycling was fun, but when it comes to main road, with all the buses and lorries on the road, I became nervous, I was palpitating =.='

I think I have to practice more in order to overcome my trauma :( I stopped when I saw a car coming from the opposite direction, shocked and nervous =.='

Hi semua!

Tau tak lecturer selalu cakap patients sekarang dh pandai, diorg dh google dulu pasal treatment semua ni before actually go and see the dentist, so dentist should know everything about the kind of treatments available, no hesitation at all

Tapi saya terfikir macam mana klu nnt kt msia kena posting pergi ulu2, and selama ni kita belajar semua terms dalam bahasa inggeris, macam mana nk explain dkt diorg treatment yg kita nak buat?

You don't have any idea on how chaotic it was yesterday unless you, fellow readers, are here as well. They celebrated their victory in a chaotic manner and I'm pretty sure that juniors who just arrived here yesterday were kinda scared with their new environment

But I also can't imagine how more chaotic and disastrous will it be if they lose the game, you know how they easily go all emo because of certain things, glad that they won indeed

Do you know that Friday is actually the day where BDS2 people sharpen their H & E pencils and show their artistic talent in playing with two colours and come out with a magnificent masterpiece?

It's simply because tomorrow we have histology practical and we have to hand in the drawing to the lecturers to be marked and the work has been procrastinated for a week

But in this case, it has been 2 weeks already because last saturday was holiday and yet, I was still lazy to complete them last weekend =.='

Praying that this week's drawing will be much easier and simpler. Gosh! I'm still wondering why we have to draw histo, can't we just know those small small structures look like and have pictures of them?

Alhamdulillah Integomb has maintained its excellence legacy among SBPs, no 2 in Malaysia, congratz teachers and juniors! You guys did well :D

Just like few recent years, no 1 goes to SASER, ops, shall use its new name now: Sains Munawir. Gosh! I think Saser is already perfect! What's the need of changing name? Aigoo

I BBM-ed ikmal regarding the name changing and asked him what's the new shortform for saser there and he doesn't know, I'm afraid that it will turn out to be SaMun, hahaha, ok, sorry saser, come out with good name then plssss

My brother, Alan is very determined to enter Integomb, I really do hope and pray that he will score well in his upsr and be able to grab a place in Integomb, chaiyok little bro! I'm proud that I have inspired him and my mom told me that I am his idol! Hahaha, anyway, yesterday (24th march) was his birthday! Happy belated birthday alan! :)

Yeah, ibu fired bibik already. You know what happens when an employee has worked for too long with the same employer, they become big headed. Dia buat ikut suka hati tok nenek laki mak dia je. Pardon me for the harsh words.

I'm happy because I could not stand with her premenopause mood swing and I found her quite annoying for most of the time when I was around her

I'm not really happy because all chores is now loaded to my mom alone, with the help from my dad, a bit. My brothers don't know how to iron clothes, how to sweep the floor, how to fold the clothes, how to keep the house tidy and neat. Luckily they at least know how to cook maggi and fry foodstuff like sausages, fishballs, nuggets etc and do the dishes (tp tu pn kne jerit byk2 kali suro buat)

Not saying that I am the one who helped my mom with all the chores. Nah, I'm quite lazy at home. But when bibik was not around, I knew it's not the time for me to lazying around, I did help a bit. But at least I know how to manage chores, so it will be much easier for my mom, she just need to order me around, no need to coach, except for cooking =.='

I hope my brothers will learn how to do chores and help my mom with them :D

Hi semua!

Has it been a while?

Nothing special actually, just wanna share some random things that happened this week

1. The week was kinda fast!

2. Dr arunima was in her good mood this week, except for that half period of carving practical on monday. But apart from that, she was surprisingly very approachable for carving, now I prefer to have her as my carving lecturer, for all teeth pls :P and her classes were understandable, she made orban became much much easier

3. I almost completed my shellac base plate special tray but accidentally it had minor overheating on the frenum, grrrrrrrr

4. More Malaysians are already here! Farhana will reach here tomorrow, then Manipal will be nearly perfect

5. Nearly perfect and not perfect because my internet connection is kinda sucks this week, it's only connected to the local connection :(
Went to bsnl already, idk why, each time I have to deal with them my patience goes as thin as the onion skin, but the guy will contact me again tomorrow to check what's wrong with my connection, whatever. Lucky that I use BB

6. SME is going to produce Hana Kimi Korean version! I'm hoping that the drama will be filled with SME artists, and I want kibum as the lead plssss. So far, Hana Kimi of any version had my fave actor as the lead, be it Taiwan or Japan, Wuchun and Oguri Shun are both my fave! Not to be forgotten, the cute Ikuta Toma with her imagination and Horikita Maki :)

7. Japan had kinda massive earthquake today and it was reported that tsunami might attack few countries, praying for the best for people in Japan and other countries involved, may Allah protects them :)

8. I am Eunjung bias now, so I have 2 female biases in Kpop now, Eunjung and Tiffany :)

9. This week was filled with laughs on our attempts to annoy Najaa with our parodies, hahaha...

10. Am I that transparent?I mean, am I that easy to be predicted and read?

Hi semua!

Do you know what is the most annoying thing for you to ever experience?

It is when you were sitting alone in the food court, filling up your personal space with games and some internal thoughts regardless almost anything randomly while listening to mr boogie with so-so volume, just to immerse yourself in your own world

Then suddenly came a group of tempe, making noise like they own the food court, theoretically, they do own this land of india, but hello, food court is for public used regardless their citizenship

One tempe accidentally pushed your table away, no apology was heard, okay, whatever.

Another tempe accidentally pushed your table from the other side, still, no apology was heard.

And another tempe pushed your table from another angle, then your patient became very low

You increase the volume of mr boogie, still ignoring your surrounding

Suddenly a tempe slammed his table, BANG! And you felt like you were just about to have heart attack

Out of a sudden, they cheered for idontknowwhatever reason

And they got out of the food court

You feel relieved but your mood has already spoiled :(

And now you're thinking of finding another alternatives just to pamper yourself a bit

But the alternatives available are mostly require *kaching!kaching* and you just spent 7k yesterday =.='

I have, err, a confession to make:

I SPENT 7K RUPEES TODAY!

Which is approximately around RM 500 =.='

I plainly looked like a shopaholic today, walking from one shop to another with plastic bagssssss in my hands, both left and right

Apart from my gifts for relatives and friends, I think I bought necessity stuff only

The inner lining of my bag is torn apart

My shoes are just about to make me walk on my soles

Let's see how did I spend the 7k:

1. Squash racket and the ball

2. 2 pairs of shoes from BLAK since I did not know how to choose one from two adorable shoes there

3. 3 bangles for friends

4. 3 saree materials for relatives

5. 2 shawls

6. 1 bag for class

7. 1 wallet

8. 1 nonmarking shoes for squash

They are all necessities right? Right? Hellooooo.... Right?

Ok, I just came out with excuses =.='

But I am well ready to play squash! Can't wait to play with farah, we had to buy the exact same pair of nonmarking shoes and racket since we were left with zero choice. This is Manipal, baby.

Few not-so-me stuff that I've done these recent days:

1. I downloaded hindi songs, loads of them, spent one whole night on them, google, download, play and sync with mr boogie

2. I downloaded loads of malay song, even lagu rakyat!

3. I don't watch kdrama when the internet is superfast!

4. I read hollywood gossips

5. I went to coffee day, just to list down names of people who I should buy something before going back to malaysia

6. I love scirocco's choco muffin *am not really a big fan of choc based food except for chocolate, the real chocolate

7. I haven't had baskin robbin for nearly 2 weeks, I used to have it once a week, and I don't really feel like having it in the mean time

8. I feel bored when there are obviously tonnes of stuff to be read and done, and to fill my boredom, I do nothing, just play minesweeper over and over again

9. I feel like following football, this is like the most unexpected one

10. I tweet like crazy and I seldomly update my fb status

11. I think jessica's voice is kinda annoying, pls don't bash me fellow sones, just some of my random thoughts

I was attacked!

By cockroach, again...

Ain was about to sleep and "AAAA, LIPAS!!!"

Ain asked me to take the insecticide but I was too freaked out to do anything, I even got my earphone pulled out from the earphone without me realizing it =.='

Ain took the insecticide and sprayed the cockroach, and it started to run away, and I ran miles away, I even climbed on ain's bed

The cockroach started to feel weak and stood at one corner, taking its rest maybe, and ain picked it up and threw it away

Yeay, ain the hero! Or shall I say, ain the cockroach killer!

This is not my 1st time posting on cockroach attack, I know many ppl have got tired reading my cockroach experience, but I am still me, nabilah who has very bad relation with insects, cockroach especially

Therefore, I came out with a list of characteristics of my future husband

He must be:
1. Not afraid of any insects and will not get annoyed when I scream like crazy upon seeing an insect, or insects, so he can be my saviour
2. Can eat onions and garlics, so that he can eat the onions and garlics on my plate
3. Can cut my nails short, as in the real definition of short, I never been able to cut my nails short like how other people define short, they always say that my nails are long when I just finished cutting my nails =.='

Today was our 1st day of block 3! Ouh, I talked about this in my previous post already, ngeeee...

1st was not that bad, we learned nasal cavity! And that's all! Best kan?

We got back our exam paper, for all subjects which means we knew our results already!

Mine? They were alhamdulillah okay, I did improve somehow though I am still not satisfied with my physiology, have to work more on it after this. I'm nor really liking the marking system here. It's like you need to have ALL points in the book, then only you get full marks, it's no longer '5 marks, so you need to have 5 points'

Gonna start new block and new sem tomorrow, for another 5 months my life will be occupied with more dental stuff before our university exam which will take place on mid july (kot?)

Feeling kinda low inspiration, seeking for my inspiration to come, where do you play hide and seek? All over india? Sigh. Inspiration, pls come back, fast!

But here I am, at coffee day, trying my best to actually understand dental caries which is the main topic of my mentor project with dr jaya. After this, I hv to carve maxillary 1st premolar, halfway. No sigh, nabilah, pls, remember how ppl back then carved those marbles and rocks into magnificent buildings

And yeah, now manipal, mmmc to be exact, is fully owned by BDS students alone. Boring. Sunyi. 27 26 25 24 pls come back fast, though I don't even know you guys specifically

-kalau beli barang2 tepi jalan tu, bargain ok, x pun buat dek and korang akan dgr dorg jual, mula2 seratus lebih, last2 30 rp je diorg jual, dorg yg offer harga tu

- dgn pakcik2 auto, kena tegas, and kena firm, nak2 lagi bila yg bawak geng ramai2

-kalau auto/driver bawak korang g kedai jual kain or apa2 yg besar sikit, maknanya diorang akan dpt comission dr kedai tu, so ikot korglah

- dgn tempe yg selamba badak je ambik tempat korg kt dalam train jugak kena tegas, xyah nk rasa kesian2 sgt, kang korang yg merana badan

- kalau boleh kt tempat yg x pakai guide/travel agent, jgn stick dgn satu pkacik auto/taxi, sbb nnt dia amek kesempatan kt korang

- biasa2kanlah mkn makanan vege, sbb banyak gk tmpat yg susah nk carik muslim food, jd option yg ada just pergi vege restaurant lah!

- topup sebanyak mungkin, wpun dlm india jugak, tp still roaming, even klu parents call kita dr msia, kita jugak yg kena charge

- sapa yg rasa ada muka tempe sikit, time nilah nk guna, xyah malu2, sbb most tickets masuk tempat2 bersejarah harga tempe dgn foreigner laen gila, mcm 10 rp dgn 250 rp

Hi semua!

Loner! Sounds harsh right?but sometimes I don't think being a loner is such a weird thing. In fact, sometimes, I love to be alone!

Back then when I was in KMS, my jogging time was my alone time. I jogged, but at the same time my mind was somewhere out there.

Now my alone time is when I walk back to sharada from library (I haven't jogged for months :() now that I am not going to the library anymore, I purposely spend my alone time in fc and kmc green, just to organize my thoughts and untangle my doubts

No, don't get me wrong, it is nothing related to you, you, you or even you. When I am alone, my thoughts and my mind are mainly on myself, reflecting every single think I did, may do or will do. Yeah, I love to daydream, whatever you call it dear. I love dive into my thoughts and perceptions. Just to get to know myself even more. But I seldomly express it, because you know, not all thoughts are expressable. Ok, chow-ing now, gonna walk back to sharada and get myself drown into my own thoughts.

3 awesome days :)

Hi semua!

After nearly 6 months being away from home, I managed to spend time with my two most beloved persons in this whole wide world. Yep, you might guess it right, my parents! Ayah and ibu :)

They were here last saturday till last monday. Practically, they are still here, stepping on the same land, breathing the same dusty land, smelling cow dunks nearly everywhere. They are still in India, but not in Manipal anymore, they are now in Goa. Enjoying their holidays there before going to New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. (And they are going to visit Taj Mahal before me myself :P)

The 3 days they were here were awesome! We had meals together and we had our evening walk at end point (manipal doesn't have much places to offer you know) and we chatted on few things. When it was the time to say goodbye, I could see that my mom's eyes were red and teary, she was holding back her tears, it was the same for me, I broke down once I reached my room, I miss them already, gonna have to wait till august to see them again, which is 6 months from now. Let's start counting the days, BDS :P

Today will be my last paper, which is the scariest and toughest one, DADH. Good luck BDS!

After that, we are all free and have to get ready for our India adventure which will start this Friday! Happyyyyy! I'm excited plus scared plus everything!

Ps: praying hard for my friends in egypt, may Allah protects them. Alhamdulillah, Ammar and Afi are already here. The rest of my Integomb friends, they are all safe and they are just waiting for evacuation team to evacuate them and some are stranded in the airport, waiting for flights to malaysia. Aan, he told his mom that everything is alright and it is actually better than how media has reported bout it, which I doubt whether it is the real truth and he was just saying so that his mom won't worry much. But my pray goes to all of them, all of Msians over there, not only for their safety, but for their future as well

the topic of this post is:

am i turning into a leopard print freak?

initially i was not a fan of animal print attire

be it, anything

blouse, pants, leggings, blablabla

but unconsciously i started to have a collection of animal print stuff

leopard print specifically :P

not that i started to like it and bought those stuff

but i bought it one by one

and now i started to realize that i am about to have a full set of leopard print stuff :P

now let's see how it has turned out to be like this

my first leopard print stuff was a blouse

which i bought specifically for english week

on which i had to be an african model

i went through all shops in terminal 1

and this was the only clothes which resembled african style

so i bought it though i was not into it very much

i planned to sell it after the event

but it is still in my wardrobe :P

in malaysia, of course.

the next thing i bought was shawl

i bought it in jalan TAR when i was in hunt of shawlssssss to be brought to india

this time i was truly attracted to this shawl

i was like "cantiknya!!!"

plus, i just bought a plain light brown shirt so i thought this shawl will be a perfect match for the shirt

and IT IS!

next, LEO

my pencil case

i know lah leo is actually meant for lion

but its name came from its own species LEOpard, seeeeee :P

this one i bought this because i have no choice left

all other animals had been bought by my classmates

i dont want to have the exact copy with my classmates

so i bought leo :D

i survived this hellish week without any regret

the tests and exams were ok

block exam is going to start in less than a week

i think i am stronger now, at least stronger than a year ago, takde sedih2 dah, i think so, erm, maybe, and i had already thrown those bad memories away, far far away :D

seriously i will never forget that time when my parents hugged me tightly during my IB graduation day and they said "we proud of you" i was touched, cuba nk control sedih pun x dapat, i broke into tears. i hope i will always make them proud of me. dulu, kini dan selamanya :)

fly abroad

yeah, here i am, in MANIPAL, though manipal was not my preference back then but i am grateful to be here now!i believe that everything happens for a reason, or maybe reasons and yeah, india is not that bad after all! well every country has its own pros and cons :D

be a good role model for my sibs

i am still trying to be one. but i'm glad seeing how my bro, alan is very determined to enter boarding school, integomb specifically :) i used to easily get mad on them, raised my voice to them, but this year one of my resolution is to avoid raising my voice to them and not easily get mad on them :)

enjoy my life :)

yeah, i did! i enjoyed my life as a 20 year old girl, lots of enjoyable stuff i did and i am always eager to try new stuff, i am looking forward for a more enjoyable year of 2011, yes, it will be filled with dental stuff, but you know, we can always enjoy stuff around us though it is not very enjoyable, the thing is that, our mind will always be the one which will decide whether it is enjoyable or not :)

tahniah kepada MSA dan juga sukarela-sukarela yang membantu :D

dan dapat juga saya berjumpa ehsan dengan amal

dah lebih dua tahun tak jumpa!

dan sekarang baru rasa macam hebatnya ibu dengan ayah boleh pegang tanggungjawab itu ini, macam-macamlah!

cakap pasal macam mana kami ni, baru dapat bil BSNL je dah rasa malas nak bayar, rasa mahal, rasa leceh kena beratur bayar bil, rasa tempe ni macam apa je bila deal dengan mereka

tapi bil BSNL ni baru 8++ rp je, tu pun boleh bahagi dua dengan teman sebilik (wakaka!)

ibu dengan ayah hebat!

kena bayar bil air, bil api, bil telefon, bil internet, cukai pintu, kwsp, loan kereta, loan rumah, dan juga duit poket anak-anak yang asyik minta duit je *ehem*ehem*

perkara-perkara yang dibualkan bersama dengan maksu saya pun dah lain

(maksu saya tua dua tahun dari saya, jadi memang kami selalu berbual macam kakak-adik :P)

dulu, cakap pasal sekolah, pasal kawan

(dia kenal kawan-kawan saya, terutama sekali kawan sekolah rendah dan juga kawan integomb yang selalu saya bawa balik tidur dekat rumah)

tapi tadi tiba-tiba dah cakap pasal anak

dia cakap dia nak buli anak saya nanti

saya cakap saya nak buli anak dia dulu

dia cakap dia nak letak sensor kat anak dia yang boleh kesan orang pukul atau marah anak dia (dia sedang belajar kejuruteraan elektrik)

saya juga rasa saya lebih terbuka bila berbicara soal lelaki dengan ibu

dulu saya memang sangat berahsia dengan ibu pasal bab-bab ini

itulah ibu rasa anak dia ni ulat buku, tak pandang lelaki pun dan mungkin nerd

ibu mungkin tak tahu lagi yang saya pernah couple masa darjah 6 dulu (gatal kan :P)

ibu tak tahu yang anak dia dulu mengambil masa lebih 5 tahun untuk get over seorang lelaki itu (dah get over dah :D)

tapi, sekarang saya senang bercerita dengan ibu mengenai benda-benda ini

ibu kadang-kadang siap bagi tips dan juga ceritakan pengalaman dia dengan ayah dulu :D

ibu selalu menggesa saya cari teman lelaki secepat mungkin

dulu saya rasa macam perlu ke?single macam lagi best, lagi bebas!

tapi sekarang saya rasa saya perlukan seseorang yang boleh melindungi saya

sebab haritu saya dah jalan balik seorang diri lepas tengah malam dengan diiringi dengan salakan anjing dan kegelapan malam

perasaan takut masa tu memang tak terkata

nak minta kawan-kawan perempuan datang ramai-ramai teman balik macam tak logik, pagar sharada pun dah berkunci masa tu, dan macam bahayakan mereka juga

nak minta kawan lelaki datang teman pun macam tak logik juga, lainlah kalau mereka itu kawan baik lelaki saya, dan saat itu saya rindu hisyam dan iski (mereka kawan baik lelaki saya :D)

lagi satu, dengan kawan-kawan pun sekarang semua asyik cakap bab kahwin je

masa makan, masa praktikal, masa jalan

kahwin, kahwin, kahwin!

hahahaha

tapi normal lah, ibu saya dengan ayah saya kahwin masa mereka berumur 21 tahun!

saya tidak rasa saya bakal mengulangi sejarah mereka

calon pun tiada lagi

saya juga masih belum bersedia untuk menggalas segala tanggungjawab yang bakal tergalas bila status bertukar

diri sendiri pun belum terurus sangat

saya terperanjat, tapi sudah ketentuan jodoh daripada-Nya :)

hi semua!

finally, my bank account has been activated

but the atm machines here are kinda weird

to start using the machine, you have to swap your card in the slot provided

and you have to be real fast in pushing the buttons and deciding which transaction are you about to use

and each swap will only allow you to do one transaction

say that you wanna check your balance and withdraw some money, you have to swap the card twice

once you finished doing the first transaction, your connection to your account will be disconnected

so, just swap it back and repeat the same procedure to do the latter part

they are very much different than those found in malaysia

where the machine will 'swallow' our card and you can take as long time as you wish to complete your transaction

and my main problem after saving so much is that i will spend a lot once i get my supply of money

i went to udupi today to search for a punjab suit for mmmc annual dinner

i fell in love with these 2 punjab suits and couldnt decide which one is better, so i bought both

the i went to big bazar and bough 4 small tees, one shirt and one huge bear which i named it as MCFLUFFY!

they were all cost me 3+++

amek ko!

anyway, now that i have more small tees, i want new cardi

oooo, where can i find nice cardi here?sobs sobs

i went to mmmc annual dinner just now

it was kind of inspiring to watch seniors get on the stage, take pictures, receive awards and even deliver speech (those with daebak to the power of 10 :P)

i already rewarded myself with double scoop icecream from baskin robbin!

a mix of tiramisu and english toffee was a great reward to myself :P

with regards of the award giving ceremony for the seniors

i dont have any nice clothes to wear that night

praying hard that my mom included something nice in the parcel and the parcel will reach me before friday and my bank account will be activated by that time

unfortunately for me, upon doc's advice, i have to put sports, dances, running and jumping on halt for 3 months

it has been such a looooooong time since my last post here that i miss writing a blog post :)

well, the exam week is over now

i am so excited!

very excited!

i really wanna reward myself with something but money is my main restriction now

i wanna eat baskin robbin

i wanna go to udupi

i wanna pamper myself in spa

i wanna shop

i wanna watch harry potter

i wanna watch rapunzel

i wanna do loads of fun things which require money

well, to be frank, i can actually ask my parents for money

in fact my dad had already asked me whether i need money or not

but i rejected his offer saying that i still have 3k in my hand

let's wait until i am desperate enough that only 1k left in my purse that i will ask him for money

sounds soooo not me right?

hahahaha, whatever

but the truth is that i feel guilty that i have to ask my dad for money

i already asked him for money to buy bb

and he already paid my flight to go back to msia next august

so, i dont wanna burden him anymore

i come here with the intention to be more responsible and independent

so let's try my best to the furthest point that i can achieve!

so i have to use crutches to move here and there

and you guys have no idea how my entire body is aching because of the crutches

it was painful, in fact, it is still painful

but thanks to my injury

it makes me realized how awesome my friends are

everyone one of them

every single friend :)

they take care of me very well

hi semua!

yesterday we went to malpe beach!

it was friggingly awesome!

it has been quite a time after my last visit to beach

yeah, that was why i was so eager for our class trip to redang

but apparently the plan failed

whatever

the beach is nice

very nice indeed

but there were a lot of people visiting the beach yesterday

maybe because it was diwali

yeah similar to malaysia,

zoo would be among the most packed places during festival holidays :D

ngahahahahaha

we wanted to ride camel and horse

but we couldn't spot them anywhere

probably because there were too many people

ouh, half naked tempe is like everywhere

running here and there with their underwear only and singing some sorts of weird songs

gosh!

not a pleasant view anyway

then that night

we went to baskin robbin!

but no english toffee was available :(

i want english toffee

ok, senyaplah ko nabilah

so i took choco coffee and milk chocolate chips

but still, english toffee tastes better :'(

it is such an amazing week!

a week of 3 days of classes only and the rest are holidays

our bds lecturers have been soooo amazing recently

yeah, they might throw that strict face when it comes to viva and practicals

but apart from that

they are simply amazing!

tomorrow is diwali

thanks to our great lecturers,

they cancelled our practicals for today

and they distributed a kind of indian sweets

it was too sweet but well, yeah we tasted something new :)

i love my bds family :D

apart from that

physio test was kinda ok

but biochem was sucks

really bad :(

hi semua!

life has been soooo great here

yeah minus those torturing reading, revising and memorizing time

and minus the formalin as well

day by day

i love my bds people more and more and more

they are totally awesome!

i could sense that bds2 will surely be a great batch :D

for these few days

we are having some interbatch sports competition

yeah i am not participating in any of the game

but i'm joining the dance team :)

but the games were all fun

yeah we lost most of the games

or should i say all games?

yeah, whatever

we lost but the best thing was that we had fun

a real fun!

yesterday we went to dhol baje

a kind of indian festival where we learned how to do the dance stick

the one you saw in most bollywood movies :)

it was friggingly fun and awesome

everyone was sweating like hell

but still move to the beat

but indians are incredible

they didn't get tired of dancing for hours

hours babe!

and there was this one cameraman who recorded us dancing, spinning all around

he recorded us for quite a while

frankly i lost my stamina already

but seeing him recording us, we just had to show our best

though our dance was kind of a mess :P

this evening i have to go to our dance practice and watch basketball match

go BDS!

but, from this tuesday onwards

we shall stop playing around and be focus

tests are coming, one by one

*hari ini hari mengantuk BDS 2*

we started the day with preclinical prosthodontics and followed by dental materials

i was half awake for both classes

well, what to expect for a non-exam class for this year

classes were very dull

most of us were sleepy

i was only fully awake when dr runki asked me regarding setting reaction

why must my roll no always be the lucky number?

huhuhuhu...

then dissection

we learned on facial arteries, veins and nerves

and also on lacrimal apparatus

i was very sleepy

i guess miss anitha could detect my sleepy eyes

sorry mam =.='

the formalin smell was not working today

i barely smelled it

and i could easily fall asleep in the dissection hall today

in the evening we had physiology and anatomy

physiology was super sleeeeeeeeeeeeepy

i guess i miss dr reem and her jokes and her exxxxxxxcelllllllent

they used to keep me awake during physio class

now she's on a long holiday

i miss her physio class :(

hello people!

it has been such a longgggggggggg time :)

shall i summarize my 1st 3 weeks here roughly?

yeah i think i should ;)

now, let's divide this post into few topics...

1. of departure and the journey

all of my uncles and aunties from my father side came

and klia was filled with their noise

but i was glad and touched

thanks all for coming

many of our friends from kms came as well

but i only managed to meet a few of them

and that was sad

but i didn't get much time to say goodbye and all to my family members

then off we flew to manipal

the flight was assisted by handsome stewards and no stewardess at all

ngihihihihi

the meal served by MAS was curry

in bangalore

we stayed overnight at orchid something hotel

the hotel was exclusive

*nice*

but there and then i started to miss my family and malaysia

i cried like hell when yana was fast asleep that day

the next day, evening

we went back to the airport to take our flight to mangalore

the airplane to bangalore was small and cute :P

the seats were mostly occupied by mara students

in mangalore

mmmc people had already waited for us

and guess who was waiting for us?

a physiology lecturer!

have you ever seen any lecturer who went to airport to fetch his/her new students?

no right??

thumbs up to the lecturer :)

but i don't know his name :P

the road journey to manipal from mangalore was thrill

hahahaha

the road was bumpy with windy

i was too tired that time and sleepy

but i couldn't get myself to sleep due to the bumpy road

passing through udupi

most people became more anxious and enthusiastic

everyone was looking to the passing shops

the funny thing that there was this shop named as 'shoe mahal'

and someone suddenly complaining about a shop called shoe mahal

well, sape nk bli kt kdai shoe mahal kn?

hahahaha

then we saw levi's shop

and everyone was like "waaaaa"

then we saw marena, the new sports centre in manipal equipped with gym, few courts and jogging track

and every went "waaaaaaa" again, louder this time

hahahah

...and we reached manipal :)

2. of room allotment

initially i was place at premier greenwood apartment

sharing an apartment with nija and two kmb girls

but the annual fees for it was damn expensive!

it was 114400 rupees!

lucky me, one kmb student wanted to move into that place

so we exchanged place

and now i am in sharada hostel :)

44000 rupees per year only

alhamdulillah

even though the room looks worse than kms hostel room and not as comfy as greenwood

but it's okay

i found more advantages of staying here

but unlucky for some of us who did not manage to exchange hostel and trapped in greenwood

may you guys get chance to move out of the hostel after 6 months and get your fees refunded :)

pray hard, guys :)

3. of classes

all 50 of us, bds students, are placed in one class

and seated according to roll no

right now i am one of the backbenchers

=.='

having difficulty to read the slide

silk's head blocks my view T.T

from 50 of us

21 from kms :)

28 are malaysian's chinese and indians (private students)

and 1 from seychelles

we have 6 subjects to learn this year

yeah, right, just like ib

anat, biochem, physio, dental anat, dental materials and preclinical prosthodontics

but only 4 of them will be included in the university exam this year

medic subjects are tough and require a lot of revision

but dental subjects are much more fun and interesting

we carve

we paint

we mix materials

we do pottery

in short, we can open up art classes later :D

seniors are great and friendly

thanks guys for making our life here become much better

4. of food

food is great!

we are still experiencing food here and there

trying new stuff and new place

but they serve food in quite a big portion

sometimes we have to share

and sometimes we have dinner with our remaining lunch

huhuhuhu

but i got diarrhea in my 1st week here :(

but other people were extremely fine

i guess my stomach was a bit sensitive at that time

5. of life in manipal

- horn sounds can be heard nearly 24/7

- traffic lights always in yellow sign

- beggars are everywhere and can be quite scary sometimes

- books are also much much much cheaper, our lecturers even advised us to buy all books here including the books that are going to be used in melaka

- blackberry is slightly more expensive than malaysia

- vodafone service charge: 5 rupees per international sms, 2.4 rupees per min for international call, 15 rupees daily for bb service, 150 free local sms daily, murah knnnn??

- however, vodafone keeps on giving us ads, quizzes, misscalls etc

- the guard at sharada will blow her whistle each time a guy/guys approaching the area even though they are just passing by or talking with a girl friend

i had a blast raya, i hope everyone would feel the same way

this year i spent the 1st day of raya at setapak

and the 2nd till the 4th raya at parit raja, johor

unlike the previous years

we didn't spend our raya in singapore nor jb

all 'thanks' to mara for wanting me to give them my passport way too early

but yet, raya was still a blast!

but thanks to mara for putting my departure date a week after raya

i got quite a huge amount of duit raya

it was four times of aman's total duit raya :)

hello!

i am sooo not going to talk on gcb mcdonald's new sensational grilled chicken burger

it's ramadhan

i am not going to take any responsibility of having readers drooling in front of their laptop craving for gcb or any other mcdonald's burger

but the 'gcb' that i would like to talk about is Gombak Crossing Boundaries

^_^

gcb is actually a program done by integomb's alumni to the form 5 students

the objectives of this program are

-to motivate the students to strive hard for their spm and to ensure that their excellence will continue later on outside of integomb

-to give the students the exposure of the choices they will get to pursue their studies after spm

-to instill integrity values among students

(they are not in the proposal, i just made it up from what i could see from the activities prepared)

the idea was basically came from adam and rahimi

then they invited me to be with them

and we started to plan and to work on it

so, last 25th august

a group of batch 0307 ex-students came to integomb to conduct the program with the current form 5 students who will sit for spm on nov this year

we have:

adam, rahimi, pqa, ridhu, faqrie, leh, izah, yan, ain, maryam, zalique, aqeel, kay, kasy, zamir, moi

such a great team!

the program started with ICON

it was a forum moderated by kasy where we invited three seniors who we have known for their excellence achievement which might inspire the students

the three seniors invited are:

abg fahrol - our 1st headboy who is an engineer now graduated from UM

k tiqah - our senior who just received master and about to take phd after this and she is only 23!

abg hosni - a well-known top scorer back then in integomb and now a medic student in nottingham

(abg fahrol ckp nabilah sombong =.=' segan ok, the last time we met and talked was years ago)

then we continued with INTERMISSION

this slot was fully done to brief the students on what preparation programs and pre-u are all about

there were 8 stations prepared where each stations would explain on a preparation program

the explanation were all done by us who had experienced the program by ourselves

the stations are:

IB, A-Level, GMI, ADP, Egypt/Jordan, Canada program, SAM, matriculation

surprisingly, some students showed interest in taking IB after this!

after tarawikh we continued our program with WAU

or its long name is We Are United

we played a mafia game

it was too complicated to be explained here

you should play it to experience it

then we have some words and hopes from the students

and finally we concluded our program around 12.30 midnight before we headed home :)

overall

the program was superb and great!

pps:i hope this program will be an annual program and will be continued by our juniors because we may not be able to handle it next year as most of us will fly to various countries after raya to pursue our studies :)

it has been a while since my last post regarding a specific today

so now i wanna talk on diaries

yeah shoot me people i was inspired by vampire diaries

my 1st i-follow-every-episode-from-the-first-one-to-the-finale series :)

whoever haven't watch it yet:

watch it, u won't regret it

it will cure your depression of watching twilight series :P

i never like twilight anyway

plus the casts in this tv series are much hotter than twilight's

team edward or team jacob?lame.

i prefer the salvatore brothers :)

anyway back to my topic today: diary!

wikipedia says:

a diary is a record (originally in handwritten format) with discrete entries arranged by date reporting on what has happened over the course of a day or other period

but according to urbandictionary (which has been a sensation among IB batch 4 nowadays):

a book that you can write all your thoughts and feelings in. you can also write evil stuff about the people you hate. people like to read other peoples' diaries

yeah, it is 100% true!esp the last sentence...

i used to own few diaries before this

and each of them was secretly read by other people at least once

without a failed..what an epic~

tired of the situation, i switched to blog

yeah it is read by other people too

but at least i am fully aware that other people would read this blog, publicly and not secretly like what had happened to my diaries!

keeping diary was actually fun

fun to read it few years later

as for my case, my diary was filled with scribbles

hearts, flowers, butterflies, names

it also contained poems, quotes from movies/novels/friends and thoughts

and...

i love *****

(i'm just clicking the * sign randomly, don't bother trying to figure it out :P)

i really had a fun time rereading my diaries back then

laughing at my own clumsiness foolish acts

cursing myself for having worthless crush on someone(s) who i found out to be no good at all

giggling on my friends' 'jiwang-ness'

wondering how i managed to bear with my hostel years

and missing my friends :)

but the truth is

i was not a committed and constant diary writer

and i simply don't have any idea how i could be a constant blogger

graduation was extremely fabulous

meeting my batch back after 2 months apart

it was saddening to think that after this it might be hard for everyone to gather under one roof like this

alhamdulillah i received special award for getting more than 40 points

thanks to all teachers, friends and of course my lovely parents

congratz to all of my friends

you guys have taught me a lot going through these past 2 years directly or indirectly

(cheh, gaye cm dh mcm iski bg speech je :P)

speaking of iski, my mom said she was touched by iski's speech

i don't know which part of the speech

but i was overwhelmed with his speech

well, he mentioned my name twice (mencapub seketika)

hahaha

i am proud of him actually

a close friend who always bugged me around with work, stories and gossips

hahaha

and academic stuff when i am not in the mood of talking about academic stuff :P

to make the day became even more fun

jhar invited me to follow him to watch cuci the musical 2 that night

what i could say is that it was hilarious!

a combination of fresh jokes from afdlin, nabil, hans, awie and harith iskander was a job well done!

four hours of nearly non-stop laughs

ok, it stopped for a few romantic scenes and serious scenes

but sometimes there were still some jokes there

afdlin with his sawan attitude

nabil with his extremely creative jokes and imitations

awie with his 'nyah' attitude

hans with his over-honesty

and harith with his wig and halus~

unlike the typical musical or theater

some of the parts in the musical were spontaneous

they were only given the direction but not the script

so i should say that all of them are extremely talented

kudos to all of them :)

ps:siti nurhaliza, nanu and sazzy falak were there too, but did not get the chance to approach them :(

1st trip with friends - done! :)

it was freaking awesome and fun!

we stayed at tune hotels jb, with some help from paan, thanx paan :)

the room was shockingly very cozy and kinda luxurious for that cheap price

flat screen tv, but we did not add the tv service in our service

water heater

ceiling fan which made the room cold even without the aircond

5-star hotel single beds

but i forgot to snap pics of the room :(

recommended for whoever searching for nice cozy rooms at low price

the employees there are very nice too

and you can use the internet through the pc's at the lobby for free for 30 mins :)

(sejak bile aku keje ngen tune hotel ni)

1st day, we strolled around danga bay

but nothing much to be told here

just dirty beach, cruises, beavers (yeah, we saw beavers in nature! not the one trapped in the cages), solar clock

ouh, x sempat singgah 'singgah selalu' :(

but let's move on to our 2nd day, the highlight of the trip:

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE!

we had to wake up early that day since we had to wait for the bus at 6.45 am at the lobby

thanx to 7e for having their business down there so we could have bun and milk for breakfast :)

we arrived at the resort world sentosa around 8.30 am

the shops were still closed

not many people were there

so, pixie time!

we walked around the area

as soon as the gate opened, we rushed into the theme park

Po from Kungfu Panda and Woody Woodpecker were there

but we missed the chance to take pictures with them

soooo many people

the first section of the park is HOLLYWOOD

so there is walk of fame

but i barely recognised any of the names there

maybe they were famous when i was not even born yet

but this star, i know her

audrey hepburn - a fashion icon :)

and we bumped into frankenstein

frankie is his (or is it 'it'?) nickname, ngeeee :)

we went straight to NEW YORK as the only attraction at hollywood is a show and it was not the scheduled time yet

so we watched LIGHT, CAMERA, ACTION!

it is a kind of show which allowed us to witness a number 5 hurricane in new york

basically it exposed us to the incredible special effects of most hollywood movies

the scene was set at a boathouse

the thunder sounds real

the scene even looks real

all of the damages, the flames, the heat, the cold hurricane

steven spielberg is a genius, baby!

after that, we went straight to SCI-FI CITY

it was frustrating to see the roller coaster railways when it is not functioning :(

the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA CYCLON (blue one)

the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA HUMAN (red one)

so the only attraction left at sci-fi city is ACCELERATOR

this is more like the spinning cups you usually find at a typical amusement park

but it puts on quite a speed!

then to the ANCIENT EGYPT

you can see the gigantic cat-like statues all over the place

and the pharaoh statues as well

i shall say that REVENGE OF THE MUMMY is the best ride here

(currently it is, since i did not get the chance to try the two sci-fi roller coasters)

there was a kind of storyline during this ride, but i wasn't paying attention to what it is

what makes this ride become even more thrilled?

it is pitch dark inside there, i was barely able to see how the track looks like

it is super fast

it is not only moving forward, but also backward and rotating

the next attraction here is TREASURE HUNTERS

but the worker there told us that this ride is mainly for children

so, xpelah, xyah naik...

then, off to THE LOST WORLD!

rain had started to fall by this time

don't be fooled by the pic

i edited it to make it looks brighter

but the sky was very cloudy at that time

the first attraction to be tried here was JURASSIC PARK RAPIDS ADVENTURE

as we were warned by aliahfatin earlier, we bought a disposable poncho each for 2 dollar (mahal kn?) and wore it into the ride

during this ride, we rode on a floating thingy which brought us around a river where we saw dinosaurs

from the herbivores to carnivores

toward the end of the adventure, we were nearly been eaten by a T-rex

this was when most visitors got wet

lucky us, we did not get wet at all :)

next, WATERWORLD

it is a show showing the search of dryland by human

the casts of this show are all mat saleh

they are all very professional and good

the stunts are all amazing!

fireguns are everywhere, the blast, fire

we sat at the soak zone but we came out dry :)

all thanks to the poncho!

bye bye lost world and say hello to FAR FAR AWAY!

1st stop, SHREK 4-D ADVENTURE

the introduction by the mirror (yeah, the one in snow white) and 4 weird things were too long and boring

but the shrek adventure was fun!

it is like a continuation of the 1st shrek movie

more on how the ghost of lord farquaad still want to marry fiona

but too bad for us, our chairs were not moving at certain parts of the show

but as we sat at the most front row, we experienced the water sprinkler :)

the 4-d effect looks real and the chair did help a lot in bringing the effect even more

next, DONKEY LIVE!

MC-ed by a weird, spontaneous, talkative, sporting guy named Raoul

this show is actually a simulation of donkey singing few songs and interacting with the audience

at first, i thought it was all recorded

but they had proved me wrong when donkey said he (or it?) saw a couple among the audience

he gave the exact explanation of them

he even asked their name and called them by their names

so we assumed that they have the software to convert whoever voice into donkey's

it's 2 already

lunch time!

we had our lunch at Goldillock, a halal fast food restaurant at far far away

i had a set of grilled chicken burger (kinda similar to gcb), fries, orange juice and add-on mashed potato

the next attraction is enchanted airways but the queue was too long

so we skipped it first and went into MADAGASCAR!

the only attraction here is KING JULIEN'S BEACH PARTY-GO-ROUND

it is a merry-go-round

it looks sooooo childish for us so we skipped this ride

by that time, the only attraction at hollywood was about to start

so we when to hollywood to watch a show at PANTAGES HOLLYWOOD THEATER

it is a concert done by monsters

they have phantom, dracula, bride, frankenstein, catwoman, wolverine, mummy (did i miss anyone?)

they sing and dance to many kind of songs including nobody by wonder girls!

as we went out of the theater hall we saw a hat shop

we tried on various kind of headgears

princess, fairy, king, witch, joker, pharaoh, cowboy, statue liberty and so on

i like this one since i was born in texas :P

we went back to madagascar

and back to far far away to ride ENCHANTED AIRWAYS

it is a family roller coaster

but it is still fast and have a lot of spin

i screamed because the seatbelt doesn't look safe enough for me

i felt insecure at that time

then we found this ogre's house

(no, i am not the ogre meant in this pic)

since we had tried almost all rides and there was plenty of time to kill

we played the king julien's version of merry-go-round,

whatever lah kan...

tried to look for the main casts ride

but they were all 'booked' by young kids already :(

xpelah, ni pon bolehlah...

went to the merchandise shop

this thing is super cute:

and we waited for MADAGASCAR BOOGIE by the madagascar's casts:

this trip was awesome and fun!

hello people!

i better type my blog post now or else it will turn all dusty

anyway, this week was soo much fun!

few highlights of the week:

1. pyan's farewell party

we had bbq at syasya's

the boys + syasya jumped into the pool while me, farhana, nau and myra just watched them playing around like kindergarten kids

i don't know what was myra's reason for not jumping into the pool as well

but for nau, farhana and i, yeah, we are the brown skin girls

so we had to avoid the UV from making our skin any darker for the graduation day :P

then we went to OU after zohor to watch movie, despicable me

the movie was funny bud too bad most of the funny parts had been shown in the trailer so it is not that funny anymore

i was too sleepy at that time hahaha

but i love that little girl

hahahahaha

then dinner at pizza hut

thanks to pyan for the treat with the so called duit rakyat hahaha

the sad part was that i couldn't send pyan, roni and ainna at the airport

well, jhar had a manipal interview that day

nobody could pick me up that early morning

so i just said bye to them through fb, bad me...

but i believe in hikmah

yeah, i found a hikmah for me for not being able to send them off :)

2. kawan ketawa kawan menangis hangout!

yes, asiah came to kl!

so asiah, farhana and i went to ts

our initial plan was to watch a movie

but we ended up with karaoke :)

we got a huge room!

very large for the three of us, it could actually fit all md43 students in that room kot!

i nearly got a heart attack when farhana shrieked once she saw siwon while asiah and i were singing bonamana!

thank god i don't have any heart diseases~

shall i welcome farhana to the world of Kpop?hahaha

we even sang koi mil gaya

yes, the one from kuch kuch hota hai

as a preparation before going to india (kononnya) hahaha

the ironic part was at the end of our 3 hours there

i asked asiah to randomly choose any song she wished for then we could sing together

asiah wanted to choose kau ilhamku by man bai

but she pressed the button wrongly which cause us to sing a ramadhan song by manbai!

hahahaha

and it became our last song~

ok, insaf jap, puasa nak dekat dh...

3. driving classes

i started my driving practicals for P already!

i attended them for 4 hours already

6 more hours left and i am going to finish it by next sunday :)

i had a weird dream yesterday

totally a weird one

but it was good and i am actually hoping that it will come true :)

i dreamed of super junior and 2pm are coming to Malaysia!

we had a week of camping, some sort of summer camp

i saw some of them wear jubah and some wear baju melayu :D

we went to a thai restaurant with magnificent handcraft decorations

yesung drove me there

i remember vividly asking him why kibum is not around

he answered that kibum wanted to act and he is in the middle of a project

but i argued how come he could be very busy with his acting until he could not make any time with the members while siwon can

and siwon's dramas are much popular and a lot more time consuming than kibum's single film

then he answered it's a secret project, you'll know it later and be amazed with it

haish, i guess i miss kibum so much :P

then we had dinner

then i spent time playing piano with junsu (i don't know how to play piano actually :D)

we chatted for awhile

shared few stories

there were some other activities

but i can't remember them

but i remember sending them off with teary eyes

like i had great time with them

then when i came back home

opened up my twitter and sent a tweet to junsu:

my results are good :)

even though i failed to reach my target which was to get 7 for all subjects but i am grateful enough

getting 41 is still amazing

how could i complain and be ungrateful when some of my friends failed to achieve the cutting point?

actually, i am stunted

i don't know what should i say to them

should i say it's ok when i know it is not ok

i feel bad for them

but i know and i always believe that everything happens for a reason (or maybe reasons)

i never feel this way

not this kind of nervous

not even when spm and pmr results were out

i'm too nervous that i couldn't sleep last night

not before subuh

i only fell asleep after few messages with iski, who told me he had the same feelings

and a few hours of listening to ipod

i couldn't even think straight

aigoo...

the teachers will get the results tonight around 10pm

while we will officially get our result on wednesday, 1.45 am
